Register Today for New Student Orientation at Nash Community College

ROCKY MOUNT, North Carolina (May 6, 2026) – Nash Community College is inviting incoming students to attend New Student Orientation sessions this May to prepare for the upcoming summer semester and begin their college journey with confidence.

New Student Orientation is designed to help students become familiar with campus resources, student services, academic expectations and the tools needed to successfully transition into college life.

Students may choose from the following orientation options:

• Monday, May 19 | 5–7 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 20 | 10 a.m. – noon
• Tuesday, May 20 | 7 p.m. (Virtual Session)

All orientation sessions are intended to provide students with essential information prior to the start of classes, including guidance on navigating campus resources, understanding student support services and preparing for academic success.

During orientation, students will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about campus resources and student support services
• Receive important information related to academics and student life
• Explore technology platforms and communication tools
• Connect with college staff and fellow students
• Gain a better understanding of expectations and next steps
