Join us for our Power Breakfast, presented by Cummins Rocky Mount Engine Plant, with North Carolina State Treasurer Bradford B. Briner. As Treasurer, Briner oversees the state’s investments, pension fund, and debt, and chairs the Local Government Commission, which reviews the finances of North Carolina’s cities and counties. He’ll walk through the state’s current investment strategy, discuss how idle funds were identified and put toward state debt, and address Rocky Mount’s finances and the LGC’s role in them.

It’s a rare chance to hear directly from the official whose office touches both the state’s finances and our own, with time for questions from attendees.
