Media Advisory: Nash Community College to Host NC’s Second Girl Power Event

Nash Community College is a major contributor to the electric lineworker workforce, featuring certificate and degree programs. NCC has recently enrolled its largest electric lineman academy class of 58.  

Overview:     The Girl Power event encourages young women to break barriers and consider career paths in traditionally male-dominated fields. NCC is the only college in North Carolina to offer a two-year associate degree in Electrical Lineworking, alongside pre-apprenticeship, diploma, and certificate options.
