Nash Community College to Host Nighthawk Enrollment Day Oct. 21

ROCKY MOUNT, North Carolina (September 28, 2026) – Nash Community College will help new and returning students take the next step toward enrolling during Nighthawk Enrollment Day (NED) on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The one-stop enrollment event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. in Brown Auditorium on the NCC campus.

Having served over 1,300 new and returning students, NED brings together representatives from across the college to help students complete multiple enrollment steps in one visit. Assistance will be available for admissions, financial aid and FAFSA completion, scholarships, academic and program advising, course registration and tuition.

New students can receive assistance completing the residency and admissions processes, applying for financial aid and NCC Foundation scholarships, meeting with an academic adviser, registering for classes and paying tuition.

Returning students can also receive assistance with financial aid and scholarships, meet with an academic adviser, register for classes and make tuition payments.

Students planning to attend are encouraged to complete their residency determination and NCC admissions application by Oct. 9 to be prepared to register for classes during the event. However, students who have not completed those steps are still encouraged to attend and receive assistance.

Depending on where they are in the enrollment process, attendees may need to bring a photo ID, NCC student ID number, Social Security number, sealed high school or college transcripts and a method of payment for tuition.

NED is designed to simplify the enrollment process by providing students direct access to the departments and resources they may need in one location. The event is open to prospective students beginning their journey at NCC as well as returning students preparing for their next semester.

Registration for Nighthawk Enrollment Day is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcomed.

The event will be held at Nash Community College, 522 N. Old Carriage Road in Rocky Mount.
